Marketing Focus: Plan and Succeed

Oh no not planning I hear you say!

I am a keen planner. I love to plan. But it’s not for everyone.

I hear a lot of people say to me, I hate planning, I’m not a planner, I prefer to go with the flow, I prefer to create when I’m feeling creative.

I’m here to tell you that the two things do not need to be mutually exclusive.

Creating a plan doesn’t mean you are tied into a set way of doing things.

And planning does not mean you can’t be reactive or spontaneous with your marketing.

In fact, it means that you can be reactive but in the right places so you’re not wasting your time and limited resources on the wrong stuff.

What it means is that when the curveballs come in, when you are presented with a new idea, when you are approached for some sponsorship or advertising opportunity, you will know if it’s the right thing for you or whether to politely decline and stay on your path.

This is what this masterclass focusses on.

About getting you refocused on your year ahead.

About going back to the foundations to make sure you are focused on the right things.

How to focus your marketing content on talking directly to where your audience is at in their journey

And lastly which platforms to focus your energy on.

Here are the key takeaways from the attendees of the masterclass.

"The workflow really helps with repurposing ideas."

"Back to basics- ensuring my blogs actually address my client’s need."

"I need to work on my value statement and my ideal audience a bit."

"Repurposing- other avenues to utilise the same content."

"A lightbulb moment for me today was Kate’s question ‘Does it bring me joy?’ because I realised I love talking and really enjoy podcasts. So I’m going to look for more podcast guesting opps."

"A visually transparent presentation of Digital Marketing Mix, inspiring."
